Any major talent/Azerite trait changes that need to be done with patch 8.1 since they nerfed comet storm and some pretty drastic changes to the frost crowd controllability?

New trait Flash Freeze could be interesting if the talent Splitting Ice doubles its chance.
Does anybody tried this?

"Flash Freeze replaces the old Winter's Reach Azerite Power, which is a good thing as that trait was always a trap. The new ability works with Splitting Ice, meaning that Splitting Ice effectively doubles your chance to activate Fingers of Frost from this trait if you have a second target to hit." From wowhead.

Does this trait stack? If I have it on two pieces, is it worth it to use on both?

Yes, the icicle damage increase stacks.

As you can See the new trait is Really good even without splitting Ice. I simmed myself (all azerit pieces and talents in combination) and i had to switch my 390 m+ Head with a 375 piece because of the new trait.
Comet Storm is still better than Splitting Ice if you sim patchwork fight, even with 2 of the new traits.

It does work with Glacial Spike.
