7.2.5 resources trinket ranking chart was done (or is labeled as done) on June 23rd. Putting us before the changes. Were they re-run?

I am doing own sims in the meantime. Just curious. May the mythic bosses drop for all of ya!

I was wondering the same thing. With the recent nerf, does that mean that the TV build is the better build now?

Some getting better results TV some GS. Depends on gear, etc.

I get that. I'm always simming myself. But it would be nice to know which items to look for.

They were not/says as much on the TODO section of that sheet...should be soon I just need to find time. The nature of the change however will have minimal impact on the rankings themselves though. Simming your own toon however is still the preferred method as gear values can be extremely volatile.

So, just wondering. How are the stat priorities now that spike got changed?

Critcap > versa > haste > mastery?

the meme of the forum is sim yourself but this is yet another case... if you have low mastery it will sim as the highest priority stat so the best you can do is sim every time you equip an item.

Generaly gs likes around 50% mastery, critcap and then depending on gear either vers or haste in some fashion. As usually Just fucking sim yourself, raidbots makes this easier then ever

The guide says only one Frozen veins relic is needed.
But im confused, atm i have one but Icy veins and medallion trinket dont allign.
Wouldn't i need atleast 2 or maybe 3 to get them to allign with eachother?

Also dam, the critcap and mastery being crap is gonne be a pain with gearing.

You won't be able to get them to align totally, but with 1 FV relic, trinket usually comes off cd about 15 seconds before IV, which is good enough.
2 or more FV relics usually makes IV come off cd before the trinket and holding IV is usually a bad idea. This is why more than 1 of the relic is not ideal

Thanks for the explanation and dam thats quite a big difference with me. I ussually have 30seconds left on Icy veins.
That is with 4p T19 so could be im more ocupied with icelances especially in AoE.
I also have a tendancy to move a bit more.

I wonder how much one relic reduces Icy Veins CD. I thought it be 10seconds.

Was pretty surprised to find that 900 Spectral Thurible and 905 Charm of the Rising Tide simmed higher for me than 880 Whispers + 860 Arcanocrystal.

not a lot, but higher. in fact, an 880 Int+ Vers stat stick simmed higher for me than the arcanocrystal; I guess my main stats are high enough sans arcanocrystal now that I can finally perform without it.

So, any reason why nobody is posting in this thread anymore? I'm using Glacial Spike with great success (for my own standards, doing only HC content), so it can't be that the playstyle suddenly has ceased being relevant. Why no 7.3 update? Or is it unnecessary, everything going "just as planned"?

I haven't checked in with Raz in the mage discord but it's very likely he's playing TV frost and/or Fire for progression in Mythic. I don't know anyone who is playing GS in Mythic unless it's on a reclear of the early bosses and is doing it for giggles. When they changed GS to not double dip and reduced how helpful our mastery was(read killed mastery for frost), it changed how good GS was with more gear. It's no longer scaling as well as it did before they changed the double dipping.

Luckily it still holds up in HC gameplay, at least for me. I am not dominating the meters, but keeping up with the rest (ever after missing four weeks of raiding while on vacation) and we got ToS HC on farm.

Oh, well. As long as the playstyle is viable until the end of Legion I am satisfied. The devs then will have to re-do all the balancing anyway, not to mention integrating artifact abilities into core mechanics. Who knows if TV and GS will even still be a thing in the next expansion.

But in all seriousness, all lists I've seen show the best combo of stuff I have to be bracers/helm...but everytime I put my necks and bracers in the Raidbots top gear it tells me to go Pyrdraz instead.

Is that just cause my necklaces suck or is it not valuing the DPS of the bracers as much as it should be?

I am experimenting with a high crit build.

I also wanna do crit/verse gear only
